Aude Lechère jewelry is crafted with precious and delicate materials, such as gold and fine and precious stones, which deserve your full attention. Rings, in particular, are one of the pieces most exposed to everyday gestures and require special care.  Everyday gestures When washing your hands or applying cream, it is recommended to remove your rings. Soap or cosmetic residue can dull the brilliance of the stones and alter the finesse of the setting. 

Physical activities

Before engaging in any sporting activity or carrying heavy loads, remember to remove your jewelry. Shocks, friction, or pressure can cause scratches, deformation, or even fractures, even on stones known for their hardness, such as diamonds. 

Cosmetic products & chemical substances

Perfume, makeup, nail polish remover, or other chemicals can damage stones and certain delicate materials like enamel. If you work in a medical environment or handle active substances, we advise you not to wear your jewelry during work hours. 

Temperature variations

Stones, although naturally occurring, can be sensitive to significant temperature fluctuations. Avoid exposing them to intense heat or sudden temperature changes. 

Daily attention

In your daily activities, certain movements, seemingly innocuous, can weaken your jewelry. A stone or a setting never breaks without reason: take care of your pieces as you take care of yourself. 

Maintenance and care

To maintain the shine of your jewelry, you can gently clean it using a soft brush, warm soapy water, and a clean cloth. Once a year, we invite you to bring your jewelry to our showroom so that it can regain its full shine thanks to a professional cleaning. This service is offered to you by Maison Aude Lechère. Storage and precautions

It is essential to store each piece of jewelry separately, in its case or travel pouch, to avoid friction between pieces that could cause scratches or shocks. For your chains, be sure to close them with their clasp to avoid the formation of knots. 

Some useful tips

If one of your stones feels loose or if you hear a slight noise, this may indicate a weakened setting. In this case, bring your jewelry back to us; our craftsmen will re-set the stones if necessary. Maison Aude Lechère declines all responsibility for work carried out by an external workshop. In the event of damage, we recommend that you entrust your jewelry to us. A personalized quote will be provided before any repairs are carried out in our workshop.
